Florida · Established businesses, since 2006

The number in March,
not the surprise in April.

Business owners rarely object to the tax. They object to finding out the figure a week before it is due, when every option for planning around it has already closed.

How we work

Serving Florida businesses since 2006

Tayar Accounting & Financial Services LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, document number L06000059102, filed in 2006, with registration details on public record with the Florida Division of Corporations. Returns are prepared by a paid preparer holding a current IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number, [PTIN].

We are not a certified public accounting firm. We perform no audits, reviews or compilations, and statements we prepare carry no assurance — if a lender needs reviewed or audited figures, that requires a CPA firm and we will say so early. Representation in an IRS examination or appeal requires an enrolled agent, CPA or attorney, and we refer rather than overstep. We are not attorneys or investment advisers.

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

Are you CPAs?

No. We prepare returns, records and statements without assurance. Audits, reviews and anything a lender wants attested require a CPA firm, and we will tell you when you have reached that.

Can you represent us in an audit?

Representation requires an enrolled agent, CPA or attorney. We will organise and prepare everything and refer you to someone who can represent you.

Can you advise on retirement plans or investments?

No. That is regulated advice and we are not registered advisers. We will explain the tax treatment and refer you for the rest.

How are fees charged?

Fixed and set out in an engagement letter before work starts, with monthly payment available. Questions through the year are not billed separately.

We are behind on filings. Can you help?

Yes, and it is common. Tell us how far behind and we will work through it in order, dealing with the agencies as we go.

Can you take over from our current accountant?

Yes. It is a routine handover and we will request what is needed. A second-opinion review first is also perfectly reasonable.
